WHAT IS CALEDONA?
There are SO MANY stories to tell from the Bound by Ravens world, but not necessarily stories that fit within my main series arc. Aye, the Bound by Ravens Novels may be interconnected standalones, but there is absolutely an over-arching series arc.
CALEDONA will focus on romance-is-the-plot stories with characters who add extra flavor to the map, the world, and the Irish and Scottish myths and folklore inspirations.
- Each story will be presented as its own season
- Each season will have episodes (instead of chapters)
- Some stories will be connected to characters we already know, some stories will have no connection.
- All stories will have a happily ever after or a happily ever for now.
- Most tales will carry the whimsical romcom vibes you are familiar with. But some will hold more serious tones and darker folkloric vibes.
- I want to provide you an episode per newsletter, but you will for sure receive an episode at least once a month.
- I’ll put past episodes on my website with a link only accessible from my newsletter.
- And, yes, eventually I’ll compile past seasons into an ebook, possibly a paperback and audiobook too. But only after YOU, my newsletter subscribers, have enjoyed them first.
Do you need to read other BBR novels first?
No, you should be able to follow along with these just fine. BUT, of course, reading the main books will help you appreciate the world and characters much, much more.
SEASON ONE follows the parents of Farris Leith . . . a secondary character in THE HEARTBREAK SHOW and the MMC in the final main BBR series novels *winks*
SEAON TWO (coming soon) will follow a water spirit lad who is fostered in an enemy tribe (per old Brehon Law peacekeeping traditions) and falls in love with a girl forbidden to him.
